New Nepal Research Center is a non-profit oriented institution which was established in 2065 B.S. Individuals working in the field of communication, human rights and social sectors are involved in this institution. the institution has taken the policy to increase the ability of media workers, to survey the status of journalism, human rights social activities and tourism, research on various sectors, conduct interaction and discussion programme and generalise the report by publishing books, bulleting and other medias.
This institution has already conducted on interaction programme in Morang on the draft prepared by subject committees in constitution experts and Alliance for social parties, solicitors, journalists, civil society leaders, human right workers teacher and students. The programme is conducted to collect the advices and suggestions on the draft of overall subject committee of constitution Assembly to prepare a handbook and distribute among the member of constitution Assembly.
In the same way, with the help of Morang District Development committee, this institution organized a three day interaction programme on “Religion, Tradition and Caste Discrimination” gathering the Brahmins, Purohits priest and the leaders of the Marginalized and down trodden people on Asad, 2066. The programme came to the conclusion that the system of untouchability can be removed with the participation and co-work with the purohitas, Brahmins and priests of the society and suggested an new thought that the untouched groups can be brought under the vital registration system (birth, death and marriage registration) of government if the Brahmins give them suggestion for that in course of baptism, manage and funeral ceremony.
